Vero Ortiz, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience across community mental health, school-based services, juvenile justice, crisis intervention, residential treatment, community violence intervention, and child welfare. They hold a BSW from Northeastern Illinois University and an MSW from the University of Denver.

Vero currently serves as Senior Director of Community Wellness at Enlace Chicago (formerly Director of Mental Health Services) and is also a Mental Health Consultant with Chicago Growth Mindset. Previously, they served as Manager of Behavioral Health Partnerships with Chicago Public Schools. Vero has 10 years of leadership experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams and utilizes healing-centered, intersectional approaches integrating culture, restorative practices, spirituality, and collective healing.
