Bianca J. Clark
Director of Youth Interventions at Metropolitan Peace Initiatives (MPI)
Dr. Bianca J. Clark, PhD, LCSW, is a transformational behavioral health leader and the Director of Youth Interventions at Metropolitan Peace Initiatives (MPI). Dr. Clark oversees administrative operations, programming, and behavioral health services for youth ages fourteen to twenty-one. These youths have typically been disconnected from Chicago Public Schools for more than three months, and Dr. Clark works to ensure that they receive coordinated academic, workforce, and trauma-informed behavioral health support. In her role, Dr. Clark leads a multidisciplinary network of clinicians, mentors, and community partners, strengthening citywide pathways that help young people reconnect with school, heal from trauma, and build stable futures.
Her career spans impactful work across Cook County Juvenile Probation, child welfare, community-based behavioral health settings, Metropolitan Family Services, and Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital. Through this experience, she has supported youth and families navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, community violence, and persistent systemic inequities. Known for her healing-centered and culturally responsive approach, Dr. Clark is recognized for building trust with communities that have historically been underserved.
She holds a PhD, along with both a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, grounding her leadership in academic rigor and extensive field expertise. Through her vision and commitment, Dr. Clark continues to advance equity-driven, innovative strategies that promote safety, emotional wellness, and opportunity across Chicago.
